Information collected using cookies, pixel tags and third party analytics tools
When you visit the Platforms, we and the third parties with whom we have contracted for the Purposes (defined below) may collect information from three sources: server log files, cookies, and pixel tags.
Server Log Files: Your Internet Protocol (IP) address is an identifying number that is automatically assigned to your device by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). This number is identified and logged automatically in our server log files whenever you visit the Platforms, along with the time(s) of your visit(s) and the page(s) that you visited. IP addresses of all Visitors are used by us to calculate the Platforms usage levels, to help diagnose problems with the Platforms' servers, to administer the Platforms and to advertise, market and solicit the sale of items sold on the Platforms to the target Visitors. We may also use IP addresses to communicate with or to block access by Visitors who fail to comply with the Policy and/or the Terms and Conditions of the Platforms. The computer system records the IP address only in the context of audit logs. The computer system does not receive or capture the information on the computer or device being used by the Visitor while accessing the Platforms (even when the device is accessed from a different IP address).
Cookies: Cookies are data that a web server transfers to an individual device for record-keeping purposes. Cookies are an industry standard used by most websites and help facilitate Visitors’ ongoing access to and use of a particular website. Persistent cookies are stored on your device for 7 days and are designed to give you the most comfortable use of the Platforms beyond the current visit by displaying unique content. Session cookies are only stored on your system until your current browser session is closed. The data collected by these cookies are not personally identifiable.
Cookies do not cause damage to the device or files, and only the website that transfers a particular cookie to the device can read, modify, or delete such cookie. If you do not want your information to be collected through the use of cookies, there is a simple procedure to be followed, in most browsers, by the user that allows the user to delete existing cookies, automatically decline cookies, or be given the choice of declining or accepting the transfer of particular cookies to the user’s device. If you do not want to allow session cookies or persistent cookies, you can do so by disabling them in your browser. For details on the procedure, please refer to the help function in the menu bar of your browser. Please note that deactivation of persistent cookies does not affect the usability of Platforms in general. However, on deactivating session cookies, we cannot guarantee that You will be able to use all Our services without restriction.
Pixel Tags: The Platforms may use so-called “pixel tags”, “web beacons”, “clear GIFs”, or similar means (collectively, “Pixel Tags”) to compile aggregate statistics about Platforms usage and response rates. Pixel Tags enable Us, or an entity authorized and permitted by Us to maintain a count of the users who have visited certain pages of the Platforms.
Third Party Analytics Tools: On the Platforms, we also use third party analytics tools to improve the functionality of the Platforms.

Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of the Platforms, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the Website, to compile reports on Website activity and to provide other services related to Website activity and internet usage to us. The IP address provided by Google as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by a corresponding setting of your browser software. By means of this function and the use of the corresponding remarketing tag from Facebook, we may target users with advertising by displaying interest-based personalized Facebook ads when they visit Facebook.
When visiting the Website, a direct link to the Facebook servers is made via the Facebook remarketing tags. The Facebook server communicates which of the websites you have visited. Facebook assigns this information to your personal Facebook user account.
